Overview:

Position Summary

Investigate and document existing systems and identify gaps and propose cost effective and efficient solutions to serve business needs. Create process documents, requirements documents; translate requirements into functional specifications for hand-over to internal and/or external technical teams and subject matter experts. Position Summary:

• Becomes familiar with all dependencies, interfaces and services required by most areas of the software system
• Determines optimal and efficient designs for multiple areas of the software system
• Develops and unit tests assigned software areas following R&D development processes
• Estimates and plans own work and the work of others in the group
• Becomes the resident expert across multiple areas of the system (mainly Oracle ADF technology stack)
• Evaluates software (or configuration) issues with many areas of the system and resolves them in a timely manner
• Implements changes to system assuring the changes do not introduce new issues
• Keeps abreast of improvements in software techniques and develop some improvements on your own
• Facilitates technology and skills knowledge transfer within the team and beyond
• Ensures proper documentation is completed for all work
Technical Skills:
• JSF and Oracle ADF
• Java, JavaScript, SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
• WebLogic Application Server.
• Client Server and Web n-tier Development including thin Web Development using HTML/JavaScript.
• Oracle Forms an asset.
• JavaScript Framework (Angular, JET or jQuery ) an asset.
