Jesta’s Category Management module provides a range of key performance indicators for sales and inventory at the department, class, subclass and item level. These KPIs help buyers and managers evaluate their business performance and, if necessary, make strategic adjustments to their inventory planning and ordering right down to the style/color/dimension/size and season level. It also informs more strategic transfers and distributions to stores keeping in mind individual site characteristics and customer demand.
The Category Management tool can also be used to analyze weeks of supply, sales contributions by product categories and to compare this year’s sales against last year’s numbers. It can be drilled down or rolled up to departments, classes and subclasses for specific stores, regions and districts.
