Official Rules and Regulations

CONTEST PERIOD – The contest is run by Jesta I.S. Inc. (the “Administrator”) and will open at 10:00 am (ET) January 15, 2023, and will close at 4:00 pm (ET) January 17, 2023

ELIGIBILITY – Open to residents of Canada and the US exclusively who have valid passports and are 21 years of age or older. Employees, agents, and other representatives of the Administrator, as well as any person with whom they reside, are not eligible to enter the contest.

HOW TO ENTER – There is no purchase necessary to enter the contest. Ballots will be given to Jesta booth visitors at the 2023 NRF Retail Show and must be completely filled out and remitted to the Administrator at the said booth.

LIMIT – Limit to one (1) entry per person. The odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received during the contest period.

WINNER SELECTION/DRAWING – The draw for the winner will be held on February 1, 2023, at the offices of the Administrator. Ballots that are incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent and contestants that don’t meet or comply with the conditions of this contest shall be disqualified.

WINNER NOTIFICATION – The winner will be notified by phone/email and must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by the Administrator by email or telephone. If the contestant whose ballot is first drawn cannot be reached within a week of being contacted, said contestant shall be disqualified and the Administrator may choose to draw another ballot or end the contest without a winner.

PRIZE –
• One (1) round trip economy-class airfare to Montreal for two (departing from a major airport in Canada/USA)
• Two (2) nights hotel stay (one room, double occupancy) near historic Old Montreal. The choice and location of the hotel are at the Administrator’s sole discretion.
• One $250 pre-paid Visa card. The Visa card is subject to the issuing company’s terms and conditions.

All expenses not expressly included in the above grand prize description including, without limitation, any ground transportation, overnight layover, if any, meals, beverages, expenses of a personal nature, room service, taxes, gratuities, accident insurance, travel insurance, health/medical insurance, excess baggage costs, in-room movies, taxis, parking and other incidental costs are the sole responsibility of the winner and the winner’s guest. The winner and the winner’s guest must depart from and return to the same airport.

It is the sole responsibility of the winner and the winner’s guest to obtain all necessary travel documentation including passports and/or visas if applicable and to comply with any customs and immigration requirements. Should the winner and the winner’s guest wish to upgrade or change any component of the prize, s/he can do so based on space availability and by paying upgrade and change prices established by the participating airline company. Except where otherwise specified in these contest rules, all use of any component of the grand prize including tickets and/or reservations will be regulated by the terms and conditions for each respective component of the prize, including those of the participating airline company and the hotel. The winner and the winner’s guest are responsible for all required medical and travel-related necessities and medical documentation. The Administrator makes no express or implied warranties of any kind with respect to the safety, or performance, of the prize.

All prizes must be accepted as described in these contest rules and cannot be returned, transferred to another individual, substituted for another prize, or exchanged in whole or in part for money.

The Administrator reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, and for any reason whatsoever, to substitute for any prize, or part thereof, another prize of equivalent or greater value. The Administrator further reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to modify or cancel any prize, as well as to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the contest, in whole or in part, in the event of any cause or circumstance, including, without limitation, any virus, computer bug or unauthorized human intervention or any other cause that is beyond the control of the Administrator, that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or normal course of the contest, subject to, in respect of the Province of Quebec, the approval of the Régie des alcohols, des courses et des jeux du Québec.

OTHER – Winning participant in this contest agrees to partake in a Jesta I.S. headquarters tour and be present for an on-site product demonstration of the Jesta Suite (total of 1.5- 2 hours) on the day of arrival. 

RELEASE AND EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY – By entering or attempting to enter the contest, each entrant and/or purported entrant agrees to release, discharge, and forever hold harmless the Administrator and its officers, directors, and shareholders from any and all claims, actions, damages, demands, manner of actions, causes of action, suits, debts, duties, accounts, bonds, covenants, warranties, indemnities, claims over, contracts and liabilities of whatever nature or kind arising out of, or in connection with the entrant’s participation or attempted participation in the contest, compliance or non-compliance with these contest rules and acceptance and use of the prize. Any entrant selected for a prize acknowledges that upon awarding of the prize, the obligations typically borne by the provider of services or goods become that provider’s responsibility. The Administrator and its officers, directors, and shareholders will not be responsible for lost, incomplete, late or misdirected entries, or for any technical malfunction or other problems with, any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment or software or for any technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or application, or any combination of the foregoing, and will not be liable for any resulting death, injury or damage to any person or property arising from, or relating to, that person’s or any other person’s participation or attempted participation in the contest.

The winner’s guest, as the case may be, releases the Administrator and its officers, directors, and shareholders from any and all liability of any kind arising out of their participation in, and use of, a prize, and authorizes the Administrator and its advertising and promotional agencies and their respective employees or other representatives to broadcast, publish and otherwise use their name, photograph, image, statements regarding the contest or any prize, place of residence and (or) voice for publicity purposes, without any form of remuneration.
