Listen to Episode 6: Innovative Ways to Build Omnichannel Rewards Programs and Inspire Customer Loyalty >>
The podcast on omnichannel rewards programs begins by exploring the steps that retailers need to take to launch their loyalty transformation.
“It is a journey,” Eric Matusiak, President at 63 Advisors, said. “Clients can go through three stages. The first stage is a basic points program, but very basic things that I still see many retailers are not that clean at is just identifying who their customers are.”
“Customers must be uniquely captured somewhere,” he continued. “Of course, respecting privacy legislation, they must opt in to provide names, customer numbers, the tracking of purchase history. This is foundational information that you need to move to the next stage where you can then start mining that customer information to create proactive offers.”
The podcast continues to explore additional steps that retailers need to take to launch their loyalty transformation.
Tune in to get tips on how to:
• create a focused plan: are points important to your customers or is your brand’s commitment to social responsibility what really resonates with them?
• leverage third-parties or coalition programs such as Air Miles
• apply best practices: digital-first, short-time to initial reward, a personalized touch
