Missed Transform 2016? Here’s Your Recap

Transform 2016 recap

Between juggling customer satisfaction, unified commerce and cutting edge technology, retailing and wholesaling can sometimes feel a bit like a circus. So what better way to celebrate this organized chaos than a circus-themed user conference?

At Transform 2016, held on May 25th and 26th in Montreal – a city renowned for circus arts, Jesta’s clients including Genesco, Town Shoes, Harry Rosen, Ferrioni, Cavender’s, Carter’s, Peter Harris and Puma came together to share first-hand experiences on business transformation with their technology partner, Jesta I.S.

Change is omnipresent. Consumers and the technology surrounding them are continuously evolving, thus fueling a demand-driven marketplace. Our user conference is named “Transform” based on this very principle. We understand the need to be responsive and agile and we strive to continuously help our clients transform their businesses. Lucky for us, our clients are among the most forward-thinking retailers and wholesalers that are driving the industry and transforming their organizations to create more value for their customers.

Day One: Starting On the Right Foot

We started off with an insight-packed agenda of keynote sessions discussing industry trends and sneak peeks of upcoming product releases. But the crowd favourites were the client highlights, where customers candidly shared some of the business challenges they were able to overcome using Jesta’s platform, taking us through their implementations – both the positive aspects and the bumps they experienced along the way. Listening to relatable first-hand experiences certainly struck a chord with the audience. [/one_half_last]
Other highly anticipated segments were the exclusive previews of the new releases of:

Networking sessions provided an inviting and collaborative environment for clients and prospects to share their journeys and challenges with one another. The day wrapped up with some signature Montreal cuisine in the heart of the Old Port and an electrifying performance at Quebec’s very own Cirque du Soleil.

Day Two: Finishing Strong

Day two kicked off with an eye to the future, with an in-depth overview of Jesta’s product roadmap and company vision.

More educational and informative sessions followed, highlighted by a keynote presentation delivered by Rob Henneke, EVP of RPE Solutions. Rob decoded buzzwords like omnichannel and unified commerce and outlined what those terms really mean, in terms of a viable business and technology strategy.

The revamped business intelligence product was also shown. It is designed to harness the power of big data to create personalized shopping experiences. It also provides a platform to filter social media into predictive and targeted marketing initiatives.

The conference concluded with a roundtable advisory board, where clients and Jesta product experts engaged in a frank and fruitful discussion of features they would like to see in the next product releases.

The connected consumer has changed the landscape for both retailers and wholesalers. Verticals are blurred and moving to profitable unified commerce is paramount. In this context, we believe the only course of action is to step up to the situation and give our partners the tools to achieve their business goals. That, from our vantage point, is what Jesta I.S. is committed to.
